Born and raised in Kentucky, I’ve lived in Colorado and Montana for over 25 years. Fifteen minutes after landing in Denver in 1981 I knew this was where I wanted to be. All these years later I am still amazed and delighted with the West and all the variations I’ve seen. I’ve recently rediscovered some long-held interests in painting and am using the blog to write about some of my current work and the inspirations that make me grateful for every day.
In July of 2008 we moved to northeastern Oregon. From the outskirts of Baker City we are continuing the process of falling in love with the great American West.
